I only spent one night in Hong Kong, but what a night! After landing at the airport, I ended up wandering around in Wam Chai, the red light district of the city. I spent an entire evening singing in a bar that had a huge Buddah in it, playing on some used guitar that was probably there for ages and on a PA system that was struggling to stay alive after all these years. The air was very humid and the tempature of over 35°C.

It was really random to end up playing there. I was originaly looking for an ATM Machine. So I asked two young men that were having a beer where I could find money. They said jokingly that they could tell me if only I came back and paid them with a beer: which I did ! It just lasted a little bit longer than having just one drink.
We finished the evening at 5 in the morning with the neighborhood prostitutes off duty that would come and listen to my singing and have one last drink! My left ear was also busted after that because a drunk Chinese had been shouting his lungs out all night long in my face speaking an English that most of us could not understand! What a laugh!
I really want to go back to play in Asia one of these days...
