Every first thirsday of the month, the city of Portland organises what people call here "first Thursday" where art galleries open their doors, offer beer and wine to the public so everyone can discover their artists' work.
A few weeks ago during one of these events, I discovered a 2 piece band called Swallows playing in one of these art galleries. The band has a great indie rock feel, very particular of Portland. For those who want to discover more about the band, Check out Swallows MySpace Page! Enjoy:
